16v timing blet replace ???'s

so not too long ago....well almost 2 years ago actually.  I remember a post on here about how to replace the timing belt on the kick's 16v motor.  it was my understanding that this was actually a VERY easy fix...at least much easier than i had expected. 

Something along the lines of once you get everything out of the way, just slowly pull the old belt off and try not to move anything. Then just slip the new one on.  Did i read that right or is there more to it?

It's pretty easy - well, except for those stupid bolts on the crankshaft pully, if I remember right.  I know for one part, I was using a mirror to FIND the bolts, to remove them.

Those little crankshaft bolts are a 5mm
hex head, at least on the 8V engines.

I only put 3 of them back in, as there are
5 total, and they can be a pain to get out

I did the timing belt on mine and it was a piece of cake. Just unbolt the fan, unbolt the fan shroud, and unbolt the nut in the center of the timing cover, take the bolts out of the crankshaft pully, they are 8mm. Then take the bolts for the timing cover off. Unscrew the stud on the tensioner pivot thingy, and the belt will fall right off.
