Careful about that spare.  :oI notice its stock while the wheels on the vehicle are bigger.  I think if you try to fit that spare one day you will fuck up your car.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but you absolutely cannot use two wheels of different sized on a 4wd vehicle.

I don't keep the spare on the back anymore.  seen two guys back into a tree and crack the rear window.  Plus you cant fit 245/75r16 on the door without a BL or wheelspacer.

Yeah....I remember seeing one of those US crash test thingys about the XL-7 and when they backed the truck into a phone pole (which they claim was a common shopping mall accident) the spare busted the rear window!  Holy Cow!  I remember noticing that the rear on the GV is wounted lower than on my old 91 tracker (little notch in the bumper) but obviously not low enough to avoid buting the back window.

See the notch in the bumper?

can i ask something??

GV's Factory tire size is 215/65/16.
my GV is +5cm higher at the monent and before the lift i putted 215/70/16 BFG AT without any problem.

i want now to fit 225/75/16 BFG MT!!

do you think they can fit in a +5cm GV? or i need to use a 2,5'' lift??

thanks in advance!  :)

I think it should fit, but be careful M/T tend to be taller than A/T in the same size. A friend with a Toy 4Runner got 31" wheels, but its more like a 31.5"-32" in reality...

By the way, if you don't mind me asking, how did you get the 5 cm lift? Coils only? Shocks? Coils + spacers?

MAD springs and monroe shocks. no spacers.
shocks are not so long now, and i need longer shocks like OME.

MAD springs give +3cm as the MAD company says, but after i putted them on and checked it (inches) again i saw that the lift was +2cm from the expectable.
looks great and "works" great too!

i think that with OME shocks it will be better than now with Monroe.
