I posted to a couple of RC BBS this morning. I will let yo know what I find out. So far, all of the new Nitro trucks I have found are independant suspension, but bost of the rock crawler RC's I have seen are solid axle.

I would love to see one of those RC trackers!  I bet those leetle ones still turn on a dime and give nine cents worth of change!
The Zuke is on its way out.  Getting a vehicle that will behave and be supported by the dealer.

A decent pro level RC starts out around $300 for the kit, motor, controler, etc. Most hoby shops will build them for you, but that is half of the fun. The cool part is that you can select everything you want for the use that you intend for the RC. When I purchased mine, I was looking for speed and good handleing. I went with an HPI RS4 MT, 4x4. It works realy good on dirt tracks but is geared to high for rock crawling. You can also change stuff as your needs change (motors, gears, locked diffs, diff gears, transmissions, etc...

HEY THANKS FOR THE INFO  ;D  I DRIVE BY A SPECIALTY SHOP EVERY NIGHT ON MY WAY HOME, I SHOULD STOP AND LOOK SOMETIME BUT IT COULD PROVE TO BE DISASTEROUS TO THE ZUKE FUND AGAIN  ::)   MATTY D.

RC's are almost as much fun as a Zuk. :o The good thing is that you can pick up a pile of rocks and rock crawl in your back yard. The down fall is that you can spend as much $'s on an RC as you can on a Zuk :'( 8) ::) ;D It all depends on what you want out of it. The more I investigste, the more I THINK i'm going to do gears, tranny and lockers for what I have, but I sure would love to have a Nitro Rock Crawler.

I've always wanted to watch somebody totally trash a perfectly good vehicle.  Glad somebody did it for me!
Nice air.

if you find where to buy some parts to build one from the US or canada plz link me i reallllllllllly wanna build one hehe

Do a search for RC Trucks, RC Nitro, etc... I'v just started dealing with a local hoby shop Cookeville Raceway and Hobbies (www.cookevillehobbies.com) 931-520-6017. He has alot of stuff to build a tough RC but he does not stock much if the rock crawling stuff yet. Also his web site is under construction but look at the raceway link and you can check out some of the RC's he has.
