Coopers in snow
« on: December 06, 2003, 04:47:21 AM »
Finally, the stuff that I was dreaming about and a lot of it fell in W pee-ay!

Finally, I discovered first hand, did my oddysey of rims, tires, rebalancing, etc pay off? :o

Was it worth it? ???

Yes.  Little slip or slide, good tread cleansing, and much more warning before the front end slides.  Note:  Now I really have to yank the wheel to get even so much as a half assed dukes of hazzard type slide.  Not so with the stock uniroyals. 8)

I think I made a good decision here.......extra rims, good tires, and of course, driving a zuke!  ;D
The Zuke is on its way out.  Getting a vehicle that will behave and be supported by the dealer.

We've had a lite dusting so far here in my neck of the woods.  I hope to see some real blizzards soon so most people stay of the roads.

Yeah it's funny how lately these years it's usually Buffalo, New York, Boston or Philadelphia that get's burried in snow before Hog Town does.  ;D

Farmer's almanac is calling for a pretty rough winter in our neck of the woods. :'(

But when you drive a zook, who the hell cares?  ;D

I hear ya.  Drove over unplowed roads with almost 20" on them, at speeds over 40 mph!  Loved it.

I'm running Mastercraps A/Ts for the winter, a Cooper variant.  The work like a charm.  Love um.
