You look like the only one to have an 99 and up GV/Vitara/tracker!?

What happen with the rack and pinion steering in the trail? On the street, with 31"-33" tires?

any comments?

Thanx

 ??? I have a 2000 Tracker.
Off road (in my opinion) the r&p tracks strait and true. There are less parts and conections to break, bend, twist or bind up. Less parts to wear out or maintain and the best part NO IDLER ARMS....

Well, it kicks arse.  No bumpsteer.  And it's survived the 31"s and the punishment I've thrown at it.

I have had to replace the driver's side inner tie rod end at 60K miles, and I'm now replacing the passenger side inner at 80K miles.  I;ve had the suspension lift on since 30K, so I guess I've gotten my use out of them.

I think the GV R&P is a better system that the Kick set-up.
