Few Questions, Sidekicks
« on: January 06, 2004, 04:03:10 AM »
Hi there,

I am new to this forum stuff i just signed up today.

Ok,

I have a 92 sidekick, i have seen many mods done to samurais but never seen them done to a sidekick. The 2 things that i am asking for now is A) I have seen the Light tab mounts that mount right to the winsheild, (as seen in the gear guide) has anyone seen that done to a sidekick? or has anyone seen any pictures?

B) I have also seen where people on their samurais where they basically seal off the back half of their samurai and take off the back part of the roof, (anybody know what im talkin about?)  ;) Has anyone done it to their sidekick or seen it done (websites).

Thank you for your time i am looking forward to reading your posts. Thank you very much

I know I've seen some guys running the lights by their windshield.  Though I don't have any pics.

Heres a picture of a Sidekick in England who turned his truck into a flatbed  (this is what you were talking about right?)

Hi and stick around theres plenty of modded TrackKicks and Vits around here. The pic above is John Sackley's much modified Vitara. It has a 5" suspension lift, a 3" body lift, 35" tyres and a solid front axle. Since that pic was taken it has been converted back into a 'normal' soft top so the kids can get in too. The Rhino logo on the side is our clubs emblem. The pic below shows in next to mine before mine was lifted.

If I recall correctly, the lights on his hood were tractor lights (4"spots rubber housing) and he had them bolted to the edge of his hood (closes to windsheild).

open your hood and you should see the bracing and a couple of open spots just drill a 1/2" hole there and bolt it up if you need pics i can get one of the underhood, i just have to put on a lot of clothes as it is very cold out right now.
