Hi,
I recently purchased a 1988 Samurai. It runs fine, but lately it started making a sound, similar to when you hit a metal plate with stick. It does it mostly when takin off from a full stop. It appears to be coming from the middle/rear area of the vehicle. I crawled under the vehicle and checked for possible sources, loose bolts, something that appeared broken, etc. Have not found anything  yet.
Has anyone experience anything similar? Any help will be appreciated.
