Before 98 and after coil spacers the same?
« on: May 21, 2016, 07:08:12 PM »
Is the pre 98 coil spacers the same physical size ad the 99 and later models? I have a set of spacers and the rear one won't go over the centering piece in the middle.  I thought the weight of the tracker would push it in place, but it did not, there is a 1/2 inch gap between the spacer and the frame piece it's supposed to sit again

The rubber isolator is supposed to be between the spring and spacer, I don't see how it would do that.  The cutout for the spring is snug as it is

Hi Herman,

I'm doing the same swap into 1998 Tracker. I was just told by TT that the only problem will be the fuel tank temperature sensor. They said that Aerio has this sensor but my Tracker does not. So, it might throw a CEL code. Have you run into a similar issue with yours?

Thanks.
