 Be careful. Unless it is accompanied by the vin tabs it's useless and highly illegal to knowingly swap titles and vins between rigs.....   
 I mean it's one thing to do a frame or body swap and have to blend the titles. Quite another to hang paper on a rig that for what ever reason can not be titled

Thanks Boxcar, that's definitely something to consider. I have a custom stretched frame, Aqualu bodied, TDI rig I'm building right now and lost my original title (I'm sure I could find it with a herculean effort to search every nook and cranny of the house/shop) that I had signed from the guy who sold me the donor vehicle of the frame. I wasn't sure how that'd work since I don't really have a VIN anywhere on the thing anymore.
