Nearly NEW 1.6L 8-valve motor. trans and T-case
« on: September 25, 2015, 05:50:18 PM »
I have a virtually NEW (only 6000 miles!) factory original motor (NOT a rebuilt) and 5-speed with transfer case available. I was going to put it in my '89 Sidekick but sold the truck last year and no longer need this setup as a spare. Yes, that is six thousand miles. I paid a hefty price for a write-off from the insurance company in 1990 and dismantled it to build another and keep spares. Stored the parts ever since. Still have the rear axle and other parts as well. I'm wondering if anyone on this forum is interested in shooting me an offer or giving me an idea what I should be asking. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Located near Toronto Canada.

Looking for offers. I checked prices on rebuilt units and they appear to be $2000+ range. I'm not looking for that much.
Will have to get it out from the shelving and dust it off to take pics. Can't say how soon. Someone seriously interested would hurry me a bit.  ;)
