I guess this maybe an age old question, but, as I am new to this part of the Auto hobby, here's my problem. I have a 87 Tintop with a SPOA 5" lift from Rocky Road. I felt lucky to find a set of Swampers 32/10.50. Looks great, drives great ( very long legged). but when I make any sharp turn the tires hit the springs. Strangely more so on flat ground also. What can I do.? Tires are mounted on 15/7 American Racing stock rims.
I love this little truck, have built it almost ground up last winter, very good therapy , as I went through cancer 2 years ago, am still in recovery mentally I have 1.6 16 V engine, new gas tank, skid plate, custom bumper., winch , and Mini Cooper leather interior, also ps from Sidekick which I bought a good running car to be cut up. I say all this, cause I have an engineering background, am retired at 71 .I still want rear air lockers, compressor, transfer case gears. I think that will about do it. O' I painted it Supper Fly Yellow, Lamborghini Devil paint . enough of all that braging, I just need help on tires and spring rub problem. ?.
