I am the new proud owner of a 97 Tracker 2-door soft top, auto, AC with 81000 miles. The guy I bought it from bought it about a year before and wasn't very car savvy.  The previous owner put 30/9.50/15s on it and they only rub occasionally at full turn.  There are no coil spacers and (I don't think) any body lift on it.  My question is this, the speedo seems quite accurate and I'm satisfied with the power.  It turns about 3500 rpm at 60 mph.  Do I still have the stock 4:30 gears?  It seems like based on what I'm seeing others say that I must have lower gears in order for the speedo to be accurate with taller tires and it seems like its spinning awfully high.

My '96 speedo is right on with 235/75's on it... meaning it was reading high with the stock tires. Seems to be pretty common. I'd say at your rpm/speed, you probably still have stock gears.
