Well, after adding my 3 inch springs the front shocks were to short so I got a new set of Monroe's for under $30 shipped.

Finally get around to putting them on and my youngest asked to help, and how do you say no to a 4 year old   

Anyway he gets the jack under there but has not enough umph to lift her, but really tried hard. Heck 40 lbs does not do it but his feet were off the ground

So I break out the 1/2 impact and he wants to try it out. Next thing I know, he is blowing the wheels off (we did watch Nascar today) even with the locks. He can't quite get them off the sammi alone, but he sure tried hard. He even put some hardware on the shocks and put one on the truck by himself (the bottom anyway)

Even putting them back on he repeats the part I told him about tightening them in a star pattern.

Probably the best couple hours I had in weeks.

This thread was not at all what I expected..... I thought is was gonna be someone needing some info.

Very cool. What springs did you put on?

I believe they are 3 inch national springs. When I cleaned them up I found PN on them but have been able to match them.

They have poly bushings and anti friction pads.

This is where it all began for many of us, keep those traditions alive and well!  I'm 2 yrs behind you but my little one already likes to wheel around on the creeper under the zuk, looking forward to the years and stories ahead...

My 3 just love this thing. So far it has just been rides up and down the street. We all fit less the wife 

This is our "camp" 4x4 and fits into the 24 ft toyhauler, just.
