Check Engine light
« on: March 09, 2012, 08:59:24 AM »
Hey everybody! I'm trying to figure out if my check engine light is burnt out. Is it supposed to turn on when you turn the key to accessory position along with the oil, brake, and battery light? I tried the system feedback switch and it does not light the check engine light. Wanted to see if it is supposed to come on with the start up lights on dash so i know if it is maybe just the bulb.

Thanks!

Yes it is - it should be on with key on, engine off and go off after the engine starts.

Thanks! Mine says SENSOR. The bulb had been removed and the feed back system is telling me there is an issue. I'm starting with the O2 Sensor because it tested bad.
