Toy Axles/YJ 35" tires???
« on: December 19, 2011, 06:57:57 PM »
Anyone running 35" tires with the YJ springs on Toy axles under a Samurai? Did any modification(s) need to be done so the 35" tire could still do its thing without rubbing?
Ignorant questions lead to a wealth of knowledge

I am in the middle of a Toyota axle swap on my 82 sj410, I'm just running 33" tires but I think you would have room for 35's with the yota diffs and a yj spring over axle setup, if not you could trim the fenders a bit or just get 2" lifted yj springs and that should give you lots of room for 35's if you don't want to trim the fenders.
82 SJ410: 5" lift (spoa), home made cross over steering, bestop, custom rust lots of it,33"tsl, 6.5:1's. To install: Toyota diffs being built. To build: roll cage, traction bar, bumpers.

89 sidekick: lift 2"suspension 3"body, 31's, aluminum rims, warn hubs, (4) lights on roof, turbocharger.
