lift and rear driveshaft angle

i was just wondering how bad the rear driveshaft angle would be after a 2.5" lift. i want to lift mine but i look back at my jeep and the many many...many....many u-joints i went through in that thing with a 4" lift on it. i want the tracker to be a reliable rig for multiple day wheeling trips out in the bush and am trying to make it reliable as possible.
i use the tracker mainly on roads that don't go over 80kph around here but occasionally will take it on the highway once or twice a week. the highway is always where my jeep would kill u-joints.
any input is appreciated. thanks!

it will b fine i have a 3'' lift in my 89 tracker

You should be fine with only a 2" suspension lift, I have over 4.5" of rear lift and as long as I can keep trans mounts in it, the ujoints handle it just fine, but within 8-10 hours of crawling the logging roads with a brand spanking new set of trans mounts, they are flopping all over the place. TT has their indestructable trans mounts available now, they are on the way!

I have been running 15" to bottom of frame on 30x9.5x15's and have not had any problem with universal's, or diff mount.  You will start having problems with your CV's before the universal's, and 2" shouldn't bother them either. 
93 Tracker,XL7 springs & 1" raised spring pads in front with YJ springs in back, home built bumpers rear & front (w/winch), 2" x 4" rock tubes,  ARB front & rear, converted Sami rear to IFS, 33x12.5x15  aluminum rims, roll cage, 2.7L w/5 speed auto.

thanks for the info! i'm thinking i will be getting the lift soon. then i think i might need to fins some bias ply super swampers to stick under it  >:D

Unless your planning on running Mud I would recommend against the Bias Swamper.  They do hook up well, but are heavy and not a good road tire.

I'll put it this way, my cousin went from 33x12.5 Swamper TSL to a 37" Goodyear, he now has more power and better handling.  :D
