Warn Industries has announced a new rebate program for a number of its powersports products. Select WARN powersports
winches and plow system components are eligible for a $50 rebate. The program begins October, 1 and runs through
December, 31 2011.

The program is simple: Buy an eligible product or products and fill in all requested information on the rebate form. Just follow
 the directions, and the rebate will be mailed to you directly. If you have any questions call WARN Customer Service toll-free
at (800) 543-9276.

Hey Andy - what is the difference between the RT, MT, and the XT series of winches in a nutshell? ...AND do you think one of the "40" winches would be enough for a 2500 lb Samurai? I like the smaller form factor and think I could tuck one right under the factory bumper without much trouble but I want to have enough winch to get me out of trouble.

RT = Rugged Terrain. These winches all come with steel rope. We offer these in 1,500-4,000 lb. capacities. RT15 and 25 both have mini-rocker switch controls. RT30 and 40 have corded remotes.

XT = Extreme Terrain. These winches all come with synthetic rope. Same capacities as the RT. XT15 and 25 both come with mini-rocker control switches. XT30 and 40 both have mini rocker control and wireless control systems.

MT = Mud Terrain. These were essentially winches sold with a shackle and strap, and made for certain specific retailers. Same as RT/XT.

We don't recommend putting a WARN Powersports winch on a truck (even a Sammi). For the money, you might as well buy a WARN VR8000.
