Extending rear links

Extending rear links

Anyone know how much to lengthen the rear suspension links with a 2.5-3" lift.  I just wanna get the axle back in the center of the wheel opening. Any help appreciated.

Most seem to do 1" longer with that much lift.

I wouldn't bother, even the Calmini rear arms are the same length as stock. If you go longer you may run into clearance problems with the rear bumper, the fuel filler and the fuel tank. I extended mine a few years back but then went back to stock.

I did a 4 link and have moved the rear axle back 2", and still have clearance at the fuel tank.

If you just extend the lower links, you will be turning the front of diff downward.  Then you will need to modify upper linkage to bring the differential back into a good position.

Why don't you just do the " Hagen " overotation "  it accomplishes exactly what your trying to do.

I have the AE 4.5" lift and the rear arms are just slightly longer(approx .5") than stock when the endlinks are threaded all the way in, and has 1" of extension available from the threaded endlink, and place the rear wheels very near the center of the wheel well.
