Ok, now I'm desperate. Today I set the float at 40 mm from the bottom to the gasket surface based on info from the internet and reinstalled the carb. Then installed a low pressure regulator and set it to 1 psi based on my assumption that I was wrong about it a few days ago. Set the mixture screw out one turn and backed the low idle screw out until it didn't touch the lever and the engine started. After warming up, set the low idle, turned the mixture screw out another 1/4 turn and drove it for a couple of miles. It ran good. Decided to adjust the idle down a little more and it ran for a few minutes and died. Now it won't start. This time there is no fuel on the butterflies. Tinkered with the fuel pressure all the way up 3 psi with no luck. Please, does anyone have any ideas?
