Fog Light Mount on bumper
« on: September 25, 2011, 11:17:31 AM »
Hey guys, I'm not seeing how to mount a set of fog lights directly to my front bumper in front of the grill.
Can someone explain to me how I should go about it.
Thanks
Jesse

You would have to make spacers that mount to the actual metal bumper and sits against or extends thru the plastic bumper cover.

There is also a tube light bar available from most auto parts store, it is not super heavy duty. I have it on my Sidekick and am considering also installing the Trail Tough tube winch bumber underneath it. I think the combined look will look better than both on their own.

Looks a little flimsy to me.  Might work though.

I have a feeling it will allow alot of severe vibration from the lights. It will require some type of bracing from the rear, ie triangulation.
