Look like crank wobble? (Video)
« on: September 22, 2011, 01:35:32 PM »
Hey folks.  I am battling an issue here with a related megasquirt issue. Long story.

Anywho, fresh shade-tree rebuilt 16v.  You may have to replay it a couple of times.  Look at the belt guides not the sprocket I installed.  I am wondering if this is typical pully wobble or if I should pull the engine and check things out.  Thanks for looking.

I doubt the crank is the problem, I bet the pulley is
just a little tweaked, but they are thin so if you try
and tap it, you might make it worse

Check that the keyway is good and that the pulley is properly seated and then make double sure that the centre bolt is torqued correctly.
