Should i install a front locker without power steering. I have a 91 sami lincon rear, spoa's, 6.5-1 t-case, 31x10.5x15 baja claws. 99% mud

Yes... In mud and dirt you'll be fine. It'll be a little difficult but the locker benefit is worth it.

air locker is the ticket, but they are pricey. turn it off and on as needed and you don't have to fight the locker through the steering wheel when you don't need it.

I had a Lock-Right in the front for awhile and when I switched R&P gears I went ahead and did the ARB locker. My only regret was the wasted money on the first locker. I should have waited and saved up some cash and done the ARB from the start and been done.

 An air locker isnt pricey its damn right expensive. To get one here in Canada its 850 bucks and not including tank, compressor, shipping and handling. I already have the locker (lockright) in my spare 3rd with locking hubs i just havent got to putting in yet. The air locker would be awsome but i think i would be divorced if i got one.

Yeah, definitely don't weld it or put a mini-spool up front...
