I bought a 91 sami last year and did a bunch of work to it 5" breeze SPOA, Trail tough 6.5.1 t-case, lincon rear end, 31 10.5 by 15' Mt baja claws and now im looking at an engine swap. I have a spare 88.5 sami and was thinking about rebuilding that engine w/mods or i have a line on a running 1.6 complete (for free). My questions are if going the 1.6 route can i  reuse my intake on my 1.3 and it will bolt on to my 1.6 since they are both fuel injected or should i hop up my other 1.3 and save the hassel.

If it a 1.6 8v your 1.3 intake and exhaust will bolt up you will need a bell housing adapter like the one you can get from trail tough   i would go 1.6                     if its a 1.6 16v you would have more work to do
