Spacer installation order of operations...
« on: April 26, 2011, 07:45:15 PM »
Hi all,

Installing some of Jeff's spacers and am wondering how I should go about it.  Do I leave the stock rubber spacer where it sits (stuck in the spring seat) or take them out and put them between the spacer and the spring?  Does it matter?

Also, anyone know a good source for camber bolts?

Thanks,

Dan

i suggest you leave the rubber cushions where they are. i originally removed them from the front, but replaced them the next time i had the front end apart. it's possible you may add/remove for leveling.
once you learn how to deal w/the front springs it's not that bad.....
any good parts store should have(or get) camber bolts.
i like jeff's stuff.
'89 kick w/little motor, still got pieces of jeff's pucks, stan's sticks into 4.24:1 tcase, 31x10.5x15's, rear lockrite, kick power steering, some radios(kj6esv), bmw seat, other changes just because. done on the cheap.
suzi the psychic gets me fishing.

Thanks! That is how I did it.

Now, do folks generally elongate the snubbers when adding the spacer lift?

Thanks again,

Dan

If you decide to, this is a pretty easy way to go about it.
