Okay. The Rhino is about to get her license plate, but, I am trying to figure out WHY the temp and fuel gauge are not working. I have chased down everything that looks like it might even be remotely a ground, underhood, on the engine, under the dash, everywhere (yes, the taillight grounds also) but they only thing that I get is when you first flip the key to "on" you get a "spike" of power for a split second, just enough to make a trouble light flash, then go out. It will do it everytime that you flip the key to on, then, do nothing again. Sound like a faulty switch to you guys?   

Checked the wiring FROM the frame to the sending unit, and the best v. that it could give was 2.47v pink wire to chassis ground. I grounded the wiring for the single wire temp sensor to confirm ground issues, but, the temp sensor wire passed when grounded. ground= H on gauge, lose ground, gauge back to C, so that is a pass on that part anyways. sigh. 

What is the resistance on your temp gauge look like when the engine is warm?

 Hey, Drone. sorry that I didn't get back sooner on this. I have not been able to let the engine run very long, as I am still needing to get a fan belt for the waterpump. I DID, however, find my trouble... turns out that the wiring in the rear behind the trim panel had been chewed through by rodents when the Tracker had been parked and left for dead. Jumped the ends together, and, gee, would ya look at that: The gas gauge DOES work. Spliced it together, checked again, and is now g2g, pending fanbelt. Thanks for the help, though. I did, somehow, manage to break the temp sensor "tab" while messing with things...    $14 bucks later, I have a new sensor to install tonight.
