K, I have been drooling over a Sammy for the last year I've been in Afghanistan. So I bought an 88.5, has a little lift put a weber carb on it, but it didn't have a tach on it, so I read that they will mount to the stock gauge cluster if you don't have one, well I bought a new gauge cluster that has the tach in it, but it does not fit in my old gauge cluster spot on the dash it's to small all the way around, I have the square vents on my dash. So is there a additional piece or panel I have to buy for it to fit in that dash or do I have to buy a new dash?

You may have gotten a dash panel for the round vents Dash Board.

I don't know if there is a "adapter" to fit it.
I do know my buddy Manny's Sammy has a totally different dash set up, (Square Vents)
but I always thought it was that it was a Top of the Line option as it had the COOL LOOKING
factory altimeter & slope/incline "Gimball" in the center above the radio box.

The 88.5 and up sammies had a newer(different) style dash. The older clusters will not fit.
