Newby tracker owner

I just purchased an 89 tracker while living here in Costa Rica.  The car is in great shape overall, a US car with just over a 100K and the previous owner just had the entire top end rebuilt with new belts, gaskets, AC overhaul, etc.  As the picture shows the tires are a little too close to the wheelwells and I would like to lift it slightly just to give me some more room when I take it offroad.  I am thinking more along the lines of coil spacers to give me about 1.5-2 inches of lift.  My question is which would give me the best ride while giving me the lift I need?  Don't really want a body lift, any suggestions on economical ways to do this?  I am not a stranger to 4X's.....my ride at home is a 70 K5 blazer on 37's and a 406/465 combo.

I am sooo sorry for you ::). you have been bit by the Suzuki bug. it a lifetime consuming disease and very contagious. be warned!

really though. nice ride! get yourself a coil spacer lift and a fresh set of shocks and struts and enjoy it!

Originally I ran a 1" spacer in the back and a 3/4" spacer in the front, just to give the tires more clearance and level the vehicle out.  I grew tired of the rougher ride and switched to a set of Grand Vitara springs up front.

If your just looking for a leveling kit putting a set of 4 door springs in the front levels things out nicely.
