locking hubs

locking hubs

got a 91 kick need to get new locker. should i go with new manual locking hubs or used auto locking hubs. do they make new auto locking hubs?

If you are planning on wheeling this truck, you should DEFINITELY use manually locking hubs.

because auto-lockers activate and release when you back up and then go forward - like maneuvering around trees other obstacles - they can unlock at inappropriate times on the trail.

Also, autolocking hubs are not recommended for vehicles that are flat-towed  (http://www.acksfaq.com/TS_5-01_07319.htm)

Warn was on here a few days ago, they sell a hubs for our applications.  So you can go new if you want.  :)

im going to get a used set from a friend for now. he said he's going to sell his tracker and his has $200 warn hubs so im not going to buy new hubs.
