I have a 92 Samurai that has a high idle that is sometimes erratic and I cant figure it out.  Have checked for vacuum leaks and everything I can think of, are there any problems that these have anyone can help on?  Everything is clean, not sure what else to check.

I have a similar issue as well. It seems to start after 5 mins of idling then go away after reving up and down for about 2 mins.

Check for a frayed throttle cable where it goes through the firewall

I took the throttle cable off completely and it still does it.  It acts like an iac problem but the parts store says no iac.

I cant remember if 92 has carb or not, if it does there is one adjustment screw for fuel try adjusting that.  Also if the timing is off it can cause fast idle so check the timing.

I think the 92 is EFI, and there is a sort of IAC but it's a throttle
kicker, pushes on the flat tab on the throttle linkage, and is close
to where the throttle cable attaches, if there is a problem with
the vacuum actuator controls it could be pushing the throttle open
and then backing off, if that doesn't help, then it could be the wax
pellet that is the cold air start control, I never messed with mine
but there is a fix that uses a piece of rubber hose to block the passage
that allows the air into the engine under the throttle plate

Im entirely sure on the EFI samurais but my carbed zuk has an idle up circuit.  The switch for it is up near the radiator and thermostat.  You can unplug it temporarily to help determine if its the cause.  IT should only cause a higher idle when electrical load is applied but can malfunction.
