I picked up a set of spacers for a Dodge on-line.  They work great, but have a different thread type then stock.

2" wheel spacers?  Time to get the correct backspaced wheels.

I run 1" wheel spacers on my Tracker.  I used to run the 2", it worked well but I kept rubbing against the back side of my fender wells when trying to turn sharply.  So I wouldn't go more then 1".

As for the offset wheels vs spacers, they put the same load on the hubs.  A good set of true spacers should be just as stable as an off-set wheel.
