hey guys im somewhat new to the site been looking at it for awhile but never had a need to join till now.
me and my dad just bought a 88 sami with a 1.6 swap and the guy was parting it out and sold the header off of it so we need to find one we were mentioning pacesetter headers in front of him and he said that they touch the egine mounts and will melt them so now we have been tryin to find some and would like to kno what will work i kno doug thorely will cause that what he had but we dont want to spend that much i have seen some hedman's but they are for a 1.3 which brings me to another question will a 1.3 header fit on a 1.6 my cousin who is our zuki expert said they will but we wanna be sure first

Is it a 1.6L 16vavle or the 8 valve?  You can tell by looking at the valve cover.

If it is an 8 valve then yes, you can use the 1.3L header.  Otherwise you will need a 16v one.  You could just go with a stock 16vavle and have someone bend you a new down-pipe.

Your good to use the stock exhaust then.  You might need to do something to swap over the O2 sensor, depending on how the 8 valve is wired.
