OK, so you didn't remove the timing belt from your import engine?
but the dizzy and injection were different so you used your old engine
parts to make it all work like it was before the swap.
This 93' is it a 16V or an 8V engine?
Now the engine will not start but you think the firing is set correctly
as well as the timing.
If it will not run with gas poured down the carb/TBI or if it's throttle body
16V I would use starting fluid spray, you have a bad timing/firing order issue.
No matter what you think is right, I promise you if there is spark, fuel and there
should be compression since this is a "good used" engine, it will start or try to
run.
Note 8V engine distributor rotation is clockwise, 16V is Counter Clockwise, check
the firing order 1,3,4,2 If I remember right at least for the 8V, verify if this is
correct for a 16V engine, I don't know why it wouldn't be, but verify the info
