Get an adapter for between the engine and tranny (unless you are putting the trackick engine in....in that case no adapter is needed, obviously).
The samurai intermediate shaft slip yoke fits the trackick tranny output shaft.
You will have to cut the intermediate shaft down shorter, if you are going to keep the samurai tcase in the stock location.

Has anyone done this?  I'm very curious.  Because this means you could convert a 2wd Tracker to 4x4 with a Samurai case, too

Been done several times (not by me though).  Most conversions I have heard of or read about have been from people that are on zuwharrie.com

So what about the slip yoke on the back of a Tracker transfer case?  Is it the same, allowing you to run a doubler with the Samurai case behind the Tracker trans/t-case?  It'd probably only work in a 4door because of wheelbase issues

No.  The output shaft of a trackick tcase is a different size than the output shaft of a trackick transmission.

26 spline output shafts
All 89-96 trackick tcases.

22 spline output shafts
All 2wd/4wd trackick transmissions (89-98).
All samurai transmissions (86-95).

All samurai and trackick driveshafts use the same sized ujoints.  So you could take the trackick 4wd slip yoke and put on a samurai intermediate shaft and the shaft would then slip onto an 89-95 trackick tcase output shaft.
Or you could just eliminate the whole "shaft" part of the samurai intermediate shaft and couple the slip yoke and the intermediate shaft end that bolts to the tcase flange together via the ujoint.  But I believe that would make the shaft too short and the samurai tcase would actually have to be moved forward.

I believe the jack shaft from the Samurai has the same spline output as the Tracker 2wd transmission, so it should be a straight bolt in.  But the mounts are different and you will need to widen your transmission tunnel to deal with the larger Tracker transmission.  I have also heard rumors that the Tracker 2wd transmission is weaker then the Samurai one, but I can't tell you one way or another.

I was in the middle of editing/adding to my previous post, when you posted.  Spline count info was added.

The samurai tranny mount/support will work with the trackick 2wd tranny.

I think the trackick trannys are just as strong, or stronger, as samurai trannys.
