if anyone would like to have their rear seat reupholstered let me know what material either marin vinyl or a canvas type and the colors you would like and I will get back to you about a cost. The work would probably take about a week. Doing this until about the week of august 16th then my wife goes back to teaching her home ec classes the week after and gets too busy. Might even trade for aftermarket parts for my 87 sami.  Brandon

p.s. we live in woods cross utah

Looks like professional quality work to me!!   Tell your wife there ARE great career opportunities in reupholstery work!!!  Where I live there are no longer professionals doing this.  A guy that reupholstered one of my first Chevelles (when I was 19 years old) finally closed up shop last year.  That would be..... over 36 years in business!  Could say the profession is going the way of shoe repairers in our "throw away society", but at least there are still some high quality shoe repairers in my area.

She enjoys teaching the facs and cte classes here in utah too much but after doing my seat she would like to start doing reupholstery in the summertime and duuring her breaks. If we can obtain a beatup old top she would like to start making safari and bikini tops fulltime and start selling them on here and rocky moutain extreme forums.

Sounds like a good plan.  Good luck to her on this endeavor.  She may find out she has both the "knack" AND a good market for her work.

Does she also reupholster front seats? If so I will have to talk wife in to letting me ship my front seats and the rear to be re done. that back seat looks nice!

Cool make sure to post up pics I am very interested. Upholstery shops here in Albany OR. are outrageous. I think they just quote real high so they don't have to do anything they don't want to.

I got the same thing from places in portland and tillamook on a camaro rearseat when I lived in tillamook awhile back. Oh and we just borrowed a top from fly n hawaiian to use as a pattern so soon we will have some safari tops made and will sell them for maybe $100 since others run about $150-180
