OK,my '86 Samurai 1.3ltr needs a little "pumping" to start, then it idles kinda fast,around1,500 rpm.If you "blip" the throttle...IT WILL SERIOUSLE STICK,idle around 3 grand...HELP!I know somthing is sticking, might have to do with the return, the carb was rebuilt.Heres a pic of the little devil!!

that would be the high idle feature on the choke.  it does that until the engine is up to operating temp.   it shouldnt do exactly what yours does, but once it reaches normal temperature, it should be right around 700 rpm.

Thanks guys,my main issue is the "sticking" throttle, reving to 3000 grand or so aint fun!!I got to jump out, throw the hood up,then MANUALLY move the throttle down on the carburator.

that sounds like a fraying/sticking throttle cable to me.  replace that, and it should go away.

Someone else just had the same issue with the Throttle sticking at 3000 rpm.  Ends up they had a problem with the choke sticking.

Yea,I was told it looks like I got a butterfly stuck slightly open at idle, hence the fast idle.So it makes sense that when I hit the gas it "sticks" more!!
