I think the 95's were the best, hands down (sure, I've had 2 95 4-doors, and my trail rig is a 95 2-door).

I prefer the manual tranny.  I don't own ANY vehicles with slushboxes.

Even my tow-rig (2004 F-250 w V-10 gas motor) has a manual.

I run the 3 speed auto ( it does have a torque converter lock up feature after about 45mph) and it's great IMO. easy gearing changes too. Manual transmission models have very limited gearing choices and all are EXPENSIVE if you can even find them.
