abandoned tracker found
« on: January 27, 2010, 10:12:14 AM »
OK, It has been sitting for a year, Son drove it on a trip, party anad someone stole the soft top.  Dad parked it and covered it with a tarp.  Pretty nice car, well it was.  4X4. I think it is a 8V.  I would be nice to put the motor in my slamborghini.  But then again, it might be better to just buy a new soft top and GET HER DONE. How much is it worth.

Depending on the condition, $500-1000 is what I would
offer, but you need to check mileage, and I would like
to hear it run before I bought it, if it won't start it's to
your advantage on price

depends on you location and what they are running for. check craigslist and see what they are going for local. I scored on one for $100 with a bad motor and have payed up to $1000 in 90% operating condition.

I agree with the other comments made.  I would also check locally, craigslist, maybe post some photos here and try to come up with a fair price

i would look under the hood and make sure it isnt a 1300cc engine. if it is a 1.3 then it has the elusive 5.62 ring and pinions. if thats the case you'll get more $$ parting it

It would have to be much earlier than an 89 year, I have a 07/88 made Kick
and it's the 1.6, very early 88 might be a 1.3 but I don't know what month

Another easy way is to right click on your picture.... click on properties.... you should see the pathway you want to copy... http..etc...

As for placing it into the forum... click on reply.... right below the letter I[/i] (for italics) you will see a icon that look like a tv screen with trees in it. If you place your cursor over it a pop up will appear that says insert picture. Click on this icon.... it will open up a pop up that will allow you to paste your pathway into.  Paste it and enter... your picture should appear when you cclick on the preview button or ehit enter and it should be in the forum.

Hope that helps.
