ATV tires that would handle the load.  Most (maybe all) ATV tires can't support 2000 pounds plus of weight.

You may check out some of the tires for UTV's like the Rhino or Razor. They may hold more weight. My friend runs ATV tires on a Dihatsu Hijet and it probably weighs the same as a Sammy. The problem may be finding a tire with a 15" rim size. I know Pitbull tires now makes some large ATV tires but I do not know the weight rating. That would be cool though.

I have seen some guys running 15" tractor and or skidsteer tires on trackers. The smaller 4wd utility tractors use smaller rim sizes on the front. That would be cool and have the weight capacity you need. The ride would be horrible though. It also would not be street legal, non DOT tires.

ic. I dont know if that ATV tires would be a the best solution, but who knows. Another problem I could see, besides load, is height. You still need some clearance and a 31"+ would be nice. I dont think they make ATV tires that big...but maybe your not going for big.

I explored aggressive tires myself and settled with Tractor tires, there's pics of my rig in the "Gallery -> Members Gallery". IF you been to any big Mud Bog most of the big boys run tractor tires. I run them for the traction alone, the terrain I play on is usually loose and I dont touch rock much. Another option would be to get some MTs and borrow a tire groover, its Easy to make a tire super aggressive with one of them.

has anyone here ever ran skidsteer tires on a kick?  i have been thinking about it for a while now.  im afraid if i put the heavier tires on my poor kick wont be able to turn em.

Actually, my first samurai I bought had skidsteer tires on it (just on the rear).  The PO just used it around his farm, so he never ran it at very fast speeds.  I never ran them on it, so I don't know how they would work.
Oh yeah, I also bought another samurai that had the tractor lugged type trencher tires on it (31x15.50s, IIRC).  I have bolted them on one of my other samurais, but never drove it, other than around the yard a little bit.  The wheels that the tires are on are 14" wide with not much backspacing.....so that puts a lot of stress on the rear axleshafts and the front wheelbearings....so I didn't want to push it.
So bobcat or trencher tires would probably work ok....but they will be a pretty heavy tire, since most have a lot of plies and a lot of rubber in them.
I know there are a lot of guys that run the trencher type tires, especially, if they run a lot of mud.  But I have also heard that those type tires work really well in the rocks too.....surprisingly enough.

Are you looking for traction or lower price for tires?
I think the tractor type tires are a bit pricey, depending
on the kind of mud you are running through, you might
find that a set of Super Swamper Boggers or my favorite
the LTBs do a good job.

One thing that helps a mud tire work good is wheel speed,
as in enough to get the tires to clean out, this requires power
and if you bog it down with a heavy tire you might not get
the wheel speed you need.

I was thinking about running them on mine, because where i go wheelin there is a lot of rocks, sticks, and other sidewall hazards.  i was just thinking they would be a lot stronger than anything i could get that is DOT approved.  the skid steer tires would be mounted on my spare rims and only used for wheelin.   thanks for the help guys.
