So I've noticted I've been leaking antifreeze for the past few weeks and refilling it as needed but getting expensive. So of course I scanned the area for a visible leak and then applied rad sealers and leak fixs with minor hopes of it fixing but it hasn't. From what I can see there is no leak in the Radiator itself but it looks as if its coming from the bottom of where the timing belt is which if I'm right is the crankshaft? I dunno if a seal is blown there if there is one or maybe the water pump is shot...any help would be appreciated...I'm pretty capable of fixing it myself but really dont want to change the water pump or timing belt if I dont have to...

Check the o-ring & pipe that connect to the passenger rear of the water pump, you might get lucky & it's coming from there. But, if it is coming from under the timing cover, I'd think it's likely the water pump... if so you should change it asap because it could lube your t-belt & cause it to stretch & slip. At least it's an 8v, so worst is it could strand you & not smash your valves. G/l & hope you get it fixed.

it sounds like a water pump. that's what happened to mine. it happened fast I checked my fluids before I left for a 100 mile trip went about 60 miles checked it again and it was low. I filled it up and I noticed the temp gauge was rising a little got to the gas station and there was a constant stream out from under the car. if you look on the top of the water pump there is about a 1/4'' hole drilled into the water pump if mine leaked there, but it also leaked from the shaft down behind the timing cover and out the bottom.  GOOD NEW  and BAD NEWS it only cost $35 for water pump, new timing belt, and new fluids and it took about 4 hours. I don't know what is worst for you?

Yep, Sounds like a water pump.
By the way, the 1.6L 16V engines are not an interference engine, you
break a belt and you still won't smash valves, don't know about the 1.8 and
2.0L engines, tho I think they have a chain drive camshaft
