i have a 1994 suzuki sidekick with its stock 1.6L 16-valve. i would love to know of any mild modifications that can be done on a limited budget.

Quick and Easy is the spacer lift and throw some 30" tires underneath it.

I all ready have the lift kits installed and a set of both agressive 29's and a set of mild 32's  just want to know what i can do to get more power from the engine.

Several X90 club members which have 16v motors have tried different headers, ing. systems & air filters. We have come up with these mods. Doug Thorley "ceramic" headers, Nology wires (capasitor wires) & a K&N look-a-like air filter. Noticable power & better MPG. The system is very dependable as well.

Veh. starts faster & quicker throttle response. What I like best is the Suzuki's stock ign. is untouched. We ran a few different "high output" systems & had one fail miles from no where. After that it's been Nology. Yes over the years we had a Nology wire fail as well but it was hard to tell as it still works as a plug wire only. I know im not alone on the "if it's not broke don't fix it "! Depenability first. I know lots of people who have multi spark systems & high output ign. systems without trouble. I am not one of them. Rather run stock. Hope this info helps.

would a throttle body spacer work?

are there any throttle body spacers that are made for suzuki sidekicks

I see there your running a cone filter...I have a new cone that will fit...but thought everyone said to use the K&N higflow airbox filter instead??  

no thats nott mine I still have the stock airbox

I ran a cone type filter as it gives the motor a little boost & i had it at the time. Yes a K&N in the stock box works well & protects from dirt, mudd & under hood temp. Keep in mind the "stock box" is part of the air restriction. K&N helps. I now have a "modified" stock box with K&N.
