Has anyone done this? Did you use the samurai compressor or adapt the trackick compressor.

Haven't done it myself, but at the Tierra del Sol Desert Safari, Petroworks had a Sami w/ 1.6, auto, and A/C that they built and were selling.  Really nice guys.  If you come up empty here, drop them a line

I would really like to know if I adapt the lines, could I use the sidekick compressor with the rest of the A/C stuff being original Samurai stuff without any problems?  Or, will the A/C clutch and pulley off the Trackick or Sidetrack or whatever you want to call it, fit the Samurai compressor? Oh, and one more question for those of you who have put a 16 V in a samurai, How much of a body lift do I need for the hood to clear?  I want the bare minimum. I just got into the Samurai world about 6 months ago when I bought a really solid and rust free 87 tintop, and have learned alot from this forum. I love the old school 4X4 simplicity of the Samurai. Thanks in advance!
