Hi, all. I'm a newbie to Suzukis and Trackers, but I'm really interested in a 4x4 4-dr. Tracker. I've been lurking here for a couple weeks on and off, but I don't seem to be able to find in-depth tech. specs for Trackers (such as transmission ratios, transfer case model numbers and ratios, differential gear options available from the factory, et cetera. Is there something I've missed (highly likely)?

I'm currently an XJ (Jeep Cherokee) nut, but I want something a little friendlier for my kids (5 and 3).

Any help is much appreciated.

Tim

Its all here if you can find it. I have read every page of this forum, and I know I ran across pages of that info. Might try doing a search, and if not, someone will chime in with the info.

Thanks. I have been searching, but I guess I might have to look at all the Sidekick stuff, too. I think I've just gotten spoiled having so many resources for XJs.

Try here.

The Tracker is essentially the same vehicle as a Suzuki Vitara (up to 98) or the Grand Vitara (98~04), I don't think there is a Tracker equivalent to the 05 and later Grand Vitaras, and if there was, I doubt you'd be interested - it's a nice enough vehicle, but, not as much of an off roader as it's older siblings.
