Seems a little steep for a 2" spacer lift and a 3" body lift.  But it does come with all the extension brackets.

That's what i was thinking, the price does seem pretty darn steep.  But i havent seen any other kits with bumper brackets, extended fuel lines, and shifter.

I'm planning on getting the body lift for my '99 in the near future. I pm'ed another guy on the Gen II board a while back, and he's really happy w/ how complete the kit is (not simply blocks and bolts).  As far as price goes, check out Masterkit1's ebay listing w/ current US dollar conversion pricing. Shippings still a little steep, but a box full of steel tends to be a little heavy.  Good luck. Keep us posted on how it goes if you get it before I do.

Also, anytime I've ever emailed them, the response has been prompt and friendly. Pretty impressive since I have yet to actually make a purchase from them.

Yeah, my first impression was that it was a little pricy, but it has all of the extensions and no welding......then my wife pointed out the prices shown were in Canadian dollars!!!!....so it actually works out to about $458US

I installed their 3 inch bodylift on my 94 sidekick. Was an easy install, the only problem I had was with one of the bolts in the core support...

I have thier 2" body lift on my 01 Vitara and I can attest to the fact that it is a VERY complete kit. On a vehicle as complex as this I would DEFINITELY recommend shelling out the extra dough for this kit because it doesn't leave you stranded when it comes to all sorts of brackets and relocation and whatnot. Also, as was stated, their customer service is very satisfactory. It is worth the extra money.

I'm the anti-body lift guy. I don't like that it raises the center of gravity without directly giving any frame clearance. The only clearance is from the larger tire. A spring spacer lift gives the ground clearance from the suspension and the taller tire. I don't know '99+ vehicles that well, but it's my understanding (Jeff - care to chime in?) you can easily fit 2" of spring lift and fit 31" tires. Cheaper, more ground clearance, easier to install than combo lift...

I have their kit on my XL, Better than the RR by a long shot. If you want better quality and are willing to pay for it, this is the kit you want.

Body lifts have a place in our world. You are talking about "center of gravity" being  a problem? Then you for one should be a "body lift" fan. Lifting the body only not only allows tire clearance but keeps the veh's "real weight" low. Larger tires give the biggest clearance gains. Just what a body lift offers. Best bet is a little of both worlds when building a afforable lift. When we twist up our suspension to add lift, wheel aligment, ride quality, & yes "center of gravity"  are affected & many times not for the better. Moderation  ;)
