Replacment of Shock Absorbers
« on: February 03, 2009, 04:40:06 AM »
1. I'm driving in  Vitara (Sidekick) Mod. 97 , w.o ABS .

2. I have to replace the Front Shock Absorbers , and decided to choose the KYB Oil Shocks (I discussed the subject of their compatibility to my needs, and the Experts here told me that for my usage , the  KYB Oil Shocks are satisfactory).

3. Unfortunately the distributor  here delivers  those with P/N  634019/634020. Exploring the Internet
     (http://www.dinglihua.com/en/product-table-SUZUKI.html) I find-out that these P/N is for 88-95    Mod, while for 96-99 Mod. P/N 634072/3 should be used.

4. Can I use the Shock Absorbers under P/N  634019/634020 ,for my 97 "VITARA" ??.

                                       Thanks - Benny

You can use them but a gas strut is far superior.
