Can a/c blower from 97 tracker fit 92 tracker?
« on: February 04, 2009, 07:16:02 PM »
Can the blower motor (for the a/c) from a 97 Geo tracker fit in a 92 geo tracker? Found one at a garage today, I only had enough time to pick up the center console with cup holders for 5 bucks in new condition!  8) but I also need a blower as mine blew out but the tracker is a 97 softtop and mine is a 92 tintop. is there any difference in the blowers? thanks!

oh yeah, 1 more thing, there is also a sami in this yard and the manual hubs look to be in excellent condition! can these manual hubs work on my 92 geo tracker with no mods?

Before you change the blower check the resistors stuck in the heater box behind your glove box, they are known to burn out.

Any know if the blower and the 97 geo tracker is the same in a 92 geo tracker? I need to know ASAP!  ??? Thanks!

Also, the manual locking hubs on a sami, can they be used on a 92 geo tracker with no mods? I have 4wd with manual locking hubs already but on the sami, they seem to be in way better condition! Please, someone help me! thanks!  :o

Not sure on the blower.  I would think so, as most of the interior pieces are the same between years.  Hooking it up to 12v should work, but test both of your blowers.  If one works and the other doesn't...

You can use the front hubs, but you will need to space them out just a pinch.  Apparently just using two gaskets gives you enough space.

Shame you lost out on the hubs.  Even bigger shame the Sammy was crushed...
