Update of my 'Kick
« on: October 25, 2008, 05:45:32 PM »
Been along time since I've posted anything about my 'Kick. A re-cap for those who haven't seen it. It has OME Springs Strutts & Shocks, Calmini 3" BodyLift, Calmini Skid Plates & Steering Stab, Shrockworks Front Bumper & Ramsey 8000# Winch, Calmini Rear Bumper w/Swing Away Tire Carrier, ARB Rear Air Locker, RockMonster 4.24:1 Transfer Case Gears, Trans Rebuild & New Clutch, Pro-Comp Lights, Pro-Comp Rims 15x10, 33"x12.5" Interco Boggers, Had the wheel wells opened up and a Exo-Cage added (turned out not to bad for being done in Costa Rica), Calmini Roof Rack, Calmini Rear Axles, SuperWinch Manual Hubs, probably something else I'm forgetting.
I love the Rockmonsters, no problem in the mud with the 33's,,,wish we could get our hands on lower diff gears cause its a Dog on the highway unless I want to stay in the 4000-5000RPM range, luckily max speeds here are 50MPH. All I need is to replace the front housing and diff with steel units so I can add a front ARB locker and that will be it.
Thanks for  looking,,Cheers.

That is probably one of the most badass kicks i have seen in a while!
Nice work man.

Have you thought about a duel case in your kick? Maybe throw a samurai case behind your existing transfer case.  It would defiantly help with you gearing problem, you could be buzzing 70 mph!

keep up the good work

Amilla,,yeah, I'd thought about it, and if I was living back in canada and highway speed was more of an issue I would do it for sure. But most of the time I have 20 minutes of driving to get to the trails and the speed limit here is either 60km/h or 80 km/h,,,slow as hell,,lol. Thanks for looking.

Nice!   Is that a 48" Jack on your roof rack?   Fits quite well up there.  I am going to buy a Hi-Lift jack...and that one looks about right.  I figure the 60" is WAY too tall to store anywhere on a Tracker.

Thanks guys, took a year and a half and a few bucks, I'm pretty happy with it. Only way I could be happier is if it had a solid front axle. Thanks for looking.

Could you possibly e-mail me some pictures or if anyone can tell a novice how to do it I would be grateful.
