Another probably stupid lift question!
« on: June 17, 2008, 06:34:33 AM »
Why is it that every GV lift uses a spacer instead of longer springs? I've seen on some sites that say Aerostar rear springs will give 3" for the back, haven't found squat about the fronts though. I'd be willing to buy the OME kit, just don't like the spacers.

They're cheaper and easier to produce than springs. I actually can't find anyone selling replacement stock springs, only lift springs are easy to find, but h&r lists a lowering spring kit...
More (cheaper than OME) options would certainly be nice.

that's pretty much that, the lift options out there are not great, so buy some ome's and some better spacers then rr offers and you'll be fine.  otherwise buy calmini, no spacers in their kit.
