I have the RRO 6" spoa kit coming and would like to know what cheap shocks are people using when they switch to SPOA? 

Depending on how you set it up, you can actually use your stock shocks.  I ran like that for over a year until I did a RUF (Rear Springs Up Front) conversion and had to put on new shock towers.  I think the most common mod is to get some Ford F-250 shock towers and switch to longer shock towers from a book.

The kit includes extended shock tower that bolt on.  The RRO site says the following about them:

Front Upper Shock Mounts.
These bolt-on units increase the height on the top end of your shocks a good 4+ inches.
Allows you to install those super long shocks for that extra articulation you so crave.

So, stock shocks are out.  Looking for something that matches the description of 4" longer with eye holes on both ends.  At least for the front.  It doesn't mention the rear and the kit is in UPS posession right now.  Anybody know a source to look up shock specs online?  I have a local autozone and I believe they sell the Gabriel brand shocks and I know when I bought the crown vics for my sidekick they were cheap.  Whats the specs on the stock sammy shocks?

Ah, stock shocks from a 94 F-250 would probably work, that is what I run on mine.  However, each vehicle usually is a little bit different so you will want to measure for yourself.

Put your lift kit on then jack up your axle on one side all the way, stuffing your tire into the wheel well as much as possible.  Then measure the travel from shock tower to the lower shock mount.  Next, use a high lift or similar system to cause as much drop as possible.  Once your suspension is flexed out measure the distance a second time.  Now that you have the two numbers head down to the local parts store and borrow their shock book.  You can find a set of shocks that fit your vehicle.  Make sure you give yourself at least 1/2" of play on the up stroke, preferable on the down stroke as well.
