Going to be putting on some off road lights.Bought 8 -150 watt spotlights and would like to know if 4 of them is to much for the 2.0 litre 2000 tracker.Don't want to be putting an alterator every couple months.Thanks

those lamps are going to draw 100 amps at 12 volts, if i did my math right, and i'd be surprised if your alternator puts out more than 70 amps.
you wouldn't be able to run them very long.
an axillary battery would extend run time, but an alternator upgrade would be the best bet.
125 amp?
probably bigger.
i had 4- 100 watt lamps and was able to run them + fan and wipers, etc. for a little more then an hour before i would have to turn them off to recharge.
just some thoughts.

'89 kick w/little motor, still got pieces of jeff's pucks, stan's sticks into 4.24:1 tcase, 31x10.5x15's, rear lockrite, kick power steering, some radios(kj6esv), bmw seat, other changes just because. done on the cheap.
