Alloy 7-Hole 16" Wheels: $79!

Anyone running these wheels? I'd love to see some pics.

For some reason the website doesn't think that the 15" or 17" versions will fit my 1992 2-door kick.  I'm hoping to stay with 15" so I can keep the tires I have now, but considering I paid $40 for all four of them, I guess I can't be too picky.

Any other sources for cheap alloy rims? Steelies always rust up too fast where I am.

Good deal, Whats the back spacing?
Can't beat the price and 16s aren't bad with bigger tires.
Few more options too.

Same place: Order 4 rims or tires, and get an extra $100 off... Deal ends today.

That works out $54 each for the rims...  Instead of listing backspacing, it lists offset -- The 16" rims are -6mm, and the 15's are -19mm.

I think I've got it sorted out -- For the 15", if the centre of the 8" rim is at 4" (Duh), and -19mm is about 3/4", then I think it should be about 3.25" backspacing, right?

Not sure why it won't list the 15" ones as fitting on a Sidekick, but if someone can confirm the backspacing, I think I might go ahead and order them.... If they'll ship to Canukistan.

I have some 16" x 6" genuine Suzuki rims on my Vitara (eg Sidekick down under). They have a +25 mm offset.  To keep the inside rim in the same position relatve to the hub, you need  0 offset for 7" rims and -25mm for 8"rims. (Note: 1" = 25.4mm)

to prove my point, here is a 0 ofset 7" rim to suit Sidekick (shame about the price):

Sorry, but I don't think your cheap find will fit your rig.

This page shows one with -27mm offset which would work:

Thanks Rod, that's exactly the info I needed.  I'll keep looking, although if the deal was still on, I might still think about trying those 15's.... How much difference could 6mm make? ;)

Thats what she said.
Whaa Whaa Whaaaaa :laugh: ::)

On another note.
As long has it has atleast 3 3/4 inch offset or less (deep off-set) for a 16x8
But I don't really know mm.
Is the bolt pattern right?
 16X8 5-139.7 -6MM    ???
Zukis are 5 on 5 1/2 inch
And are the centerholes  big enough for you Hubs?

I'm still debating on getting these wheels to try out -- The 15" are down to $63 bucks each.

Does anyone have any info on this X-90 from the 'Readers Rides' section? I did a search for Jim Simon, but nothing showed up.
http://www.zukiworld.com/month_060106/images/readersrides_0606/debisimon_x90.jpg

It's an X-90 that seems to be running the same wheels.  From what I can see, anything that'll fit an X-90 will fit a sidekick, right?

I called and talked to the guy, and his only concern was too much offset... The centre hole should be fine as it's the same as on the 16" wheel.

Another site, rims-n-tires.com, specifies -8mm as the max negative offset.. Would the extra 11mm (0.4 inches) make a big difference?

I've seen the U.K. Vitara fatboys with huge deepdish rims... I should be fine, just looking for any extra advice.

Thanks!
-Al.
